Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke signed Take Action to Support Vaccine Funding via Isaac Omondi 2014-09-10 10:03:52 -0400
We need YOU to take action to support global vaccine funding!
Times are tough for many Americans — and Congress must fund programs that are proven to be effective and will save lives. That’s why we need your help to tell Congress that vaccinating children around the world is a priority. Global health and immunization programs save lives and help protect us here at home — and vaccinating children in developing countries is one of the best investments we can make. We need your help to get this message out.
Over the next few months, Congress will decide how much U.S. funding goes to critical foreign aid programs, like global health and vaccines. During this process, it is critical that you let your member of Congress know that you do not want any cuts made to global health funding or funding for global vaccines.468 signatures
Tell your representatives in Washington that they must make it a priority that children in developing countries receive life-saving immunizations.

Since the the beginning of September2014 our Reach Team has on the front-line in providing information concerning the Peace Day celebration in Nigeria especially as the the Theme of this Year’s celebration is on “Peoples Right to Peace”. In line with our commitment in joining the global community in making the celebration a reality, our association will be distributing 5000 Peace Flags in Nigeria and get them hoisted in all the houses of Ex-Freedom Fighters and educate them with the message of peace. Amazingly, High Chief Ateke Tom, a Niger Delta born freedom fighter has accepted the Peace Flag to be hoisted in his palace on 21st September 2014, first time after accepting the presidential mandate to promote peace in his region. A team of Peace Ambassadors and Peace Messengers had already visited him where he was honoured and promised to champion the message of peace across Nigeria states. He has signed a Peace Card through the United Nations Foundation where he congratulate the United Nations Peace-keepers for their effort in maintaining global peace an achievement to our association.
