Last week, UNA-USA at Catholic University celebrated World Water Day to raise awareness for clean, safe water for children around the world.
Participating in the UNICEF Tap Project, they tabled in the student center and encouraged students to sign on to the challenge on their phones and mobile devices by going phone-less. As a university, they raised enough money for 234 days of water for a child. The winner of the challenge put their phone down for 17 hours and raised money for 70 days of water.
Great job, Catholic University!
