    GenUN Spring Lobby Day

Globally-minded student leaders in the D.C. area are invited to participate in the United Nations Association-USA GenUN Lobby Day on Tuesday, May 2. Students will receive training on advocacy strategies and will attend meetings with high-level congressional staffers on Capitol Hill, to discuss the importance of a strong U.S-UN partnership and updates on the new United Nations Secretary-General. This is an excellent leadership opportunity for students to gain skills and get an insider’s perspective on the legislative process. UNA-USA and our sister organization the Better World Campaign will schedule meetings for students with their members of Congress. If you register for the Lobby Day it is very important you commit to attending because you may be the only constituent from your hometown or state that we have scheduled a meeting for.
